Phone calls have been great, clear from both sides - Jitain Patel review

May 09

Jitain is based in Wellington, New Zealand.  He uses earbuds when running, hiking and when he was working as an outdoor guide.  He loved the trust he had that they would never fall out.  Here is what he had to say about his time testing Gen3 prototypes:

I love these.
Haven't been able to run as I've had a wisdom tooth out, but have been painting our spare room and doing work and family calls.

Yeah it ticks the "not feeling like it'll fall out" and "not putting pressure on the ear like I have to shove it in to make sure it feels like it won't fall out" mark really well.

Base is so much better than the last.
I can listen louder without my partner hearing (I'm assuming this is due to the rubber tips)
Phone calls have been great, clear from both sides.
Fit is so much better with my glasses on than the last, and I'm wearing a beanie, doesn't feel cramped or pressured. Does push against the "Helix" of my ear (had to google to find a name for that part) but can't have it all, space for the glasses means it's gotta go somewhere.

Still feels solid like it's not going to fall off

I know you've only asked for audio quality and fit, but I'll throw other thoughts out there too in case they're helpful.

Would be great if the case can be smaller than the gen2
Button placement feels off, I have to pinch to be able to turn volume up or down, wonder if the volume buttons can go on the back? That way you're not finding which button and don't have to use your whole hand to operate, e.g the current location for pause play, then behind the ear for the other options?

Will send them back shortly, but cheers and nicely done.
