Welcoming Sam Blenkinsop to the earSHOTS Crew

earSHOTS is stoked to welcome Sam Blenkinsop to our earSHOTS Rider Crew. earSHOTS Riders create new lines in riding, whether it be in the way they ride, what they achieve and how they live. earSHOTS Riders also play a massive role in inspiring riders to push themselves to grow their riding and fall in love with the outdoors.
When it comes to music and riding, Sam loves to use music in his warm up's and climbs to get him in the zone. His go-to tracks are centred on the 70s period, with some specific tracks including:

- Old School - 2Pac

Sam resides in Christchurch with his wife and baby girl and rides for the Norco downhill team. Some of his riding highlights include:
- World Cup win in Schladming;
- Twelve top-5 World Cup finishes
- 2018 King of Crankworx
- 2020 New Zealand National Champion
Voted by the people of Pinkbike as one of the top-5 most stylish riders of all time, the man they call "Blenki" has made a name for himself with his notorious combination of speed and style for over a decade. Distinguished by his pedalling in the air and riding gloveless, his flair on a bike stands out wherever he goes.
